What is F.U.E.L.?
F.U.E.L. (“Faith Utilized in Everyday Living”) is a small LGBT ecumenical Zoom-based, and in-person Christian fellowship community established in 2015. our purpose is to focus on supporting all individuals in the study of Christian principles, encouraging reflection and study of Scripture generally, and forming habits of communion with Jesus, and doing so as proud LGBT persons.
Who is F.U.E.L for?
While the regularly-attending membership of the FUEL fellowship is exclusively LGBT, straight Christian allies have participated in the past. All LGBT persons, and LGBT allies who are Christians, seek to reconnect to their Christian past, or have a desire to learn about Christianity (regardless of their particular religious denomination or spiritual practices). It is safe place for LGBT individuals and is not a place where members should feel obligated to justify their faith or status as LGBT individuals to non-LGBT individuals.
What do we believe?
All LGBT individuals who are followers of Jesus, want to know more about Jesus, or are trying to reconnect with Jesus, and want to study Scripture and fellowship in a small group, are welcome in F.U.E.L. No specific creed or set of Christian beliefs is required to participate in FUEL, nor does the leadership of the group encourage membership in any particular Christian denomination.
