What is AGMV?
AGMV is a small Scripture study and fellowship group established in 2020 that consists solely of LGBT persons who consider themselves to be anchored to, and endeavoring to follow, beliefs of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, excluding the homophobic and non-LGBT-inclusive teachings of said denomination. In contrast to FUEL and First Friday, AGMV involves a more in-depth and long-term study of entire books of Scripture, chapter by chapter, in an order determined by the majority of group members. These Scripture studies are informed and shaped by the Seventh Day Adventist Bible Commentaries, the writings of Ellen G. White, and various other Seventh Day Adventist writers and publications
How does it work?
AGMV members alternate the responsibly to lead each study of Scripture, and the fellowship includes a time of sharing, as well the enjoyment of worship songs. The group meets the last three Fridays of each month at 9:30 PM EST, and meetings are via Zoom with members located in Chicago, Illinois; Winston- Salem, North Carolina; and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Annual Retreat
AGMV has begun convening an annual spiritual retreat where all members come together in the same place for fellowship
How do we study?
Since its inception AGMV has read and studied, book by book, chapter by chapter, verse by verse, closely examining what God has to teach us.

1 Corinthians Chapters 1 - 16
-
2 Corinthians Chapters 1 - 13
-
